Grin Network Drives not appearing on Browse function of Select Install Folder

I have no idea what is going on here. I have a client running a Setup Factory 8 install on a Win 7 computer. When he clicks the Browse button of the Select Install Folder, only local drives are shown. This includes the hard drive, the optical drive, and even the flash drive. The system has a number of network drive mappings, as shown in its My Computer display, but none show up in the SF8 Browse window.

This has shown up on a couple computers now and I was wondering if anyone else has seen the behavior.

Any suggestions as to the cause or cure will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

The network drives are not mapped for the elevated user. Or you must run the installer "as invoker", so the mapping is not lost (and no user elevation takes place), or you must make sure that the elevated user has the same mapped drives as the logged user when you run the setup "as administrator".

Well, that makes sense. Thanks for the quick response.
I don't suppose that SF9 would behave any differently, would it?

As I have often said the main point of security is to get in the way.

No, that is Windows "helping" us.
