I was brought up as an agnostic. And am still pretty much 'on the fence' when it comes to the whole atheist vs. religious debate. Whilst I demand evidence of a 'God' that can't be documented, at the same time I can't totally dismiss the possibility of there actually being one. I respect those who have faith enough to believe unequivocally in something unprovable. And at the same time, respect those independent enough of mind not to be swayed by religious dogma/propaganda.
But this whole implantable RFID chip thing that the Rockefellers are pushing, just got a whole lot creepier for me. As mentioned in the above post from earlier, I thought it was creepy that the Lieberman-Hatch Bill just happened to be Senate Bill.666.
But now, this whole '666' thing just got REALLY creepy ... if you look at it in light of RFID chips and the above quote from Revelations. Why? Well, for years I heard claims that all UPC barcodes contain the number 666. But after looking at the barcodes on a bunch of stuff in my pantry, I personally couldn't see any evidence for such a claim. Until I saw this:

and this:

I've also read a bunch of other web articles which try to argue that there's no 666 in the UPC. But it seems to me that no matter how much you try to deny it, all UPC barcodes do indeed seem to contain the number 666. And that any new device MUST have the 666 markers embedded within it, in order to be decoded by existing equipment at the point-of-sale.
Coincidence or not, one thing's for d@mn sure. It's fricking creepy!
This stuff really makes my head spin.
