What About a IRC Forum Chat Room

I think that would be a great idea. A community I'm a part of has a Lua help IRC channel and it's a really friendly place.

I think an AutoPlay IRC channel would really be great.

I'd love to hear what a member of staff thinks about this.

I've been wanting to write a bot that sits in the channel and you can do various tasks with it, like this:

<@shadiku> !help Application.Sleep
<~AutoPlay> Application.Sleep(number Time);
<@shadiku> !example Window.Show
<~AutoPlay> Window.Show(Application.GetWndHandle());

lol, nice idea, very cool, but wouldn't it be easier to just look in the help file

im unsure about the whole chat thing, users would login and ask stupid questions, how about a bot that automaticly bans someone for asking something thats coverd in the help file

Yeah it would be easier but this could be one of many features.

Anyway, if we put +m on it would mean that the channel is moderated, meaning only people with +v (voice) can chat in the room, so if people ask stupid questions we can just devoice them.
