It worries me, this question has been asked quite much before
Once the source is lost, it's lost.

Look in your project folder, do you see a folder called "AutoSave?

If you do and there is the autosave files in there then its as easy as moving the last project file into the project folder and rename it!

I always keep my projects folder structure intact even when I have finished a project and I ALWAYS also export it and save it on a USB Hard Drive as a backup just in case!

You could also try to search google for a file recovery program, the best program for this I have found so far is Recouva, it is freeware and works quite well, it might be an idea to give that a try!

No! I am sorry but there is no magic solution where people can wave a magic wand and it will magically return!

Google Recouva, download it and install it and then do a deep scan (could take upto 2hrs to complete depending on the size of the hard drive and how much data you have on it) but in the meantime, try not to copy anything to or create files until you have done the scan as this will make the chances of recovering your file(s) worse as you could be potentially overwriting that project that may still be hiding on the drive somewhere!

Excuse me, but think. Wouldn't that be dangerous? If there would be a possibility,
it could mean each project could be converted back to a source so that's why there
simply is no solution for your problem. Even if people know one, they shouldn't tell.
