    audio recording?

I did a quick search and only found some old (ver.5) posts with no good resolution. Wondering if anyone has a dll or plugin to record audio (wav/mp3) from w/in ams?

Yes, you can use sside's AudioCapture Library:

or you can use Worm's fcsound.dll:

a few years ago i made an app for some friends that run a pirate radio station (its leagle now tho), this app did various stuff but one of its core functions was to record DJ sets to post at the stations website (PLUG>>Shine FM 87.9<<PLUG)

anyway, the point is, i searched high n low for something that could record good quality sound and had all the gimmicks i was after (record to MP3/WMA, select output device etc)

after testing and ditching loads of free components i tested and eventually got my pals to buy THIS

it does the job, and it does the job well

Active Audio Record Component supports the following prog languages:
Implemented as ATL ActiveX object, Active Audio Record can be easily integrated into applications written in languages that support ActiveX Component such as Visual C++, Visual Basic, Delphi, C++ Builder, .Net languages like C#, VB.Net, Java, Scripts like Perl, Php, Python, ASP.Net.

It's going over this newbies head. AMS uses LUA language. How do we implement Active Audio Record Component within our apps? I'll give you my beautiful german shep first born pup to know the answer... wait, I forgot, she is spaded. What about my gratitude. mouse

you can use Active Audio Record in AMS (lua) with the help of LuaCOM (free) or retesets ActiveX plugin (not free)

for examples of using LuaCOM simply search the forum, there's plenty of them
