    Ideas: CCTV Software

    Hi, does anyone know how to begin creating software for cctv cameras? Plz post a reply my job depends on it....thanks

    If your job dependend on it you would not pick a scrpiting lang what you know nothing about, there are already 1000's of free and open souce video source redoing software that will do the job way better then ams ever could.

    @dctech, webcam stuff is kinda complicated, it can be done from within AMS but it would be very slow/and/or it would require some/lots of external libs, to do it myself would be a head ache, to explain it to a new user would ****

    You can use flash for see and record webcams, this could be a nice try

    AMS can handle feeds from a webcam with a DLL (by sside I believe), but the question would be what kind of camera system are you using?

    Your question is a really, really broad question. Do you want to control the cameras and the video feeds? just the video? Enable remote viewing? Record to a hard drive only? Stream on the web? Maybe you should post exact details of what your trying to accomplish, in the very least someone could point you in the right direction. Otherwise, this link might help you.
