The information in this article applies to:
    • AutoPlay Media Studio 4.0

    SUMMARY

This article explains which files are automatically included in an AutoPlay Media Studio 4.0 build.

    DISCUSSION

All files that are referenced in AutoPlay Media Studio 4.0 fall into two categories:

    • Internal References
    • External References

When the build process occurs all files that are internal references are compressed, encrypted, and built right into the application's DATA folder. For security reasons, the filenames are also replaced with random gobbledygook (or "munged") to make the files a bit less accessible to the user.

External references are not built into the DATA folder; instead they are simply expected to be where you say they will be at run time.

Note: AutoPlay will only build files into the DATA folder if an internal reference to it exists at build time. If you add an internal reference and then remove it, AutoPlay will not build the file into the DATA folder.
