Hi!
If anyone can please help me here.
I have some MS Access Databases I distribute with some AutoPlayMS programs I develop.
Recently I started using MS Access Runtime 2007 instead of 2000 (Since 2000 does not seem compatible with Windows 7) and it now always prompts for a certificate every time the data base opens stating that it may contain harmful code.
I applied for my Coders Certificate but can not get it in Manitoba as I am told Manitoba will not give access to its records. Apparently there are a few other provinces as well.
I have given them all the documentation I can provide and still can not get a certificate.
So....
My first question is... how can I get this certificate in Manitoba and who in the province issues them. I was using GoDaddy which was the cheapest in the US. ($169. vs $500)
Next... I read that with some coding and tweeking I can some how eliminate this problem by making changes to the end users registry which I have never been crazy about doing but I may have no other choice.
Please help me in any way please.
Also... is anyone running any of their AutoPlay apps on Windows 7?
If so are you getting any Security Certificate Alerts?
And if so... how to deal with them as well would be appreciated.
Has anyone else tried running MS Access 2000 on Windows 7?
Thanks in advance!
