    missing .inf file

For whatever reason, the .inf file required to execute the autorun.exe file is not published to a CD. I have verified the ENABLE AUTOPLAY FEATURE is checked in the publish project settings.

This problem is not specific to a particular project, it seems to be occuring with all of my projects and I have created dozens with no problems prior to this. I have changed none of my settings. I uninstalled version 2.0 and updated to version 2.1. Problem still occurs.

I tried adding the file manually to the directory, however the AutoMax software will not allow an .inf file to be added, even if added as a different extension and then changing it to an .inf file once in the directory.

What should I do to correct this problem and get my CD's to autorun???

    Hello,

can you see the file there when you publish your project to a hard drive folder?

No, I can not, and again, I cannot add an .inf file to the folder on the hard drive either.

This is strange. Could it be that you have an antivirus interfering with your work, as some worms use autorun.inf files for their propagation? It could be that your antivirus is blocking these files completely from being accessed.

The antivirus software was the problem. Thanks so much for the help.
