Anyone know when AMS 8 may be released?

    Hi,

AMS 7.5 is great software! Wondered if version 8 will be out sooner than later, with even more features?

    Kind Regards,

    SGW

A question, asked many times before, but never answered.

    It's a mistery indeed.

There is a legend told the Oracle of the Black Mountain that AMS 8.0 will be released sometime in the next thousand years...of course that's just legend.

October '08 was for the AMS 7.5 update correct? Not for the new version 8. I believe that was told somewhere on this huge forum

I think you're right about that. I seem to remember that being the case.

Although, realistically, this is not really that big a concern. The IR staff are going to take their time and get it right...it's not like we're all gonna stop using AMS if they don't release 8.0 by a certain date .

I'm sure they are working hard at it, plus they've got like 3000 pages of suggestions to go through .

Indeed, thanks to all the plugins, scripts and everything this community provides AMS is powerfull enough to create Media applications. It might have some serious glitches, of which they know of, it does not prevent us, the community, from using AMS, creating plugins, scripts, media etc. I have been using PureBasic alot more lately, but I still use AMS. Oh and I use PB to create stuff for AMS alot so that's fine lol
