    Suggestion: option to copy empty folders within 'Add Folder Reference'

    Hi,
    using SUF 8.1.1008.0

    it would be a big deal to have the option to copy also empty folders. We need some folders installed from the setup. Our currently used installer takes a selected folder and all subfolders, even if they are empty or not. In this case we don't have the worry about all of the subfolders within the setup script. Some co-developer add, remove or rename the subfolder and the setup only takes this folder tree and installs it on the target system. I don't have to change any script code. That's nice.

    My suggestion to implement this:
    The dialog 'Folder Reference Properties' on the tab 'Advanced' might have an additional checker 'Install empty folders'. This checker is default unchecked, the same behaviour like today. If you set it checked the named folder and all of the subfolders would be created or installed on the target system. If you uninstall the setup the empty folders should be removed.

    This was also asked by emu99 within the thread http://www.indigorose.com/forums/sho...e+empty+folder

    Thanks.

    Best regards,
    Udo

    My work-around for this is to have a tiny holding file (e.g. an icon or empty text file) in every "empty" folder.
