when you run a Avi File, how do you close it and return to the main screen?

If you mean that you are showing a video in a video object and have it set to full screen, then in the "On Finish" event of the video just put this code -

Video.SetFullScreen("Video1", false);

I no longer use AMS6 but I'm fairly sure that this still applies.
