Thread: SU7.0 uninstall probs.

I have a problem in my project. Basically, my installer need to install tons of files(images, swf, video..) in the user's system. I use everything default in the while installing and while uninstalling stage. The installing stage works fine; however, the uninstalling stage seems strange to me. For instance, while uninstalling, if i switch to other apps. or clicking on the screen the uninstalling screen becomes NOT Responding. And sometimes it stops somewhere(freezing) when progress bar are not full. I can tell it's running behind(just Gui not refreshed) since when the uninstall is done all files are deleted.

So, what's the problem? Is that a bug for SU7.0 for coding uninstalling scripts and GUi? (all something unusual will happen if the files are too large to be handled by SU7.0).

There was a problem in SUf7 with themes & the progress bars (all progress bars) -- you are stuck with this behaviour.

I want to know whether this problem is solved with SUf8.0 ??
