    Regarding the session variables

    Hi all,
I need small clarification regarding the session variables i.e.
%AppFolder% by default the value is assigned as C:\Program Files while in installation process. But where as in Uninstall it is taking different path i.e. installed path. Is it the getting the path form the xml file if so can we assigned the value for the %AppFolder% as that of the uninstall process . Means can we customize the value of the session varaibles.

Can you tell me how to create the global variable and assigning the value of the default folder in "Installation Folder" Screen so that to check whether the application exists or not .

I tried another way using the registries to get the details but unable to get the solution .

Thanks in advance and an early reply would be realy appreciated.
