CheckBox & RadioButton problem in AMS 7.5

I have an annoying problem in AMS 7.5: Whereas in AMS 7.1 checkbox and radiobutton objects looked OK both in design time and in runtime, now in runtime these objects have a solid white background, instead of being transparent (see attached project).

Is there a way to solve this problem? Otherwise, it would be stupid to use only white page backgrounds...

I have tried it. It works normal.

Maybe there is a problem with your installation.

For those of you having problems with this, what operating system are you using?

    Hi jackdaniels,

Are you using the commercial or evaluation version of AutoPlay Media Studio 7.5?

Everyone else: So far we're unable to replicate this issue on our side.
    • Does this happen on pages as well as dialogs?
    • Does this redraw issue happen all the time? Or does it sometimes draw correctly? What about when you minimize and maximize the application?

Mark, I tested this using several virtual machines. Here are my results:
    • Windows 98 - solid white background
    • Windows Me - solid white background
    • Windows 2000 Professional - solid white background
    • Windows 2000 Server - solid white background
    • Windows XP Home SP2 (Luna) - transparent background
    • Windows XP Home SP2 (Classic Windows) - solid white background
    • Windows XP Home SP3 (Luna) - transparent background
    • Windows XP Home SP3 (Classic Windows) - solid white background
    • Windows Vista Home Basic (Aero Basic) - transparent background
    • Windows Vista Home Basic (Classic Windows) - solid white background
    • Windows Server 2003 Standard (Classic Windows) - solid white background
When the background is shown as solid, minimizing and restoring the window or passing another window on top of it (forcing a redraw) does not change anything. This problem is related to the absence of themed windows.

Great testing Ulrich! That's exactly the information that I needed. Brilliant work, I should be able to fix this bug now.

    Thanks!

Wow! I could never have bargained for such wide support to be spawned out of my problem claim! Now I really do hope that this bug will be fixed soon

BTW my info is as follows:
    ---------------------------
    OS: Win XP Professional SP2
    AMS version: 7.5.1000.0
    Windows desktop theme: Classic
    Bug occurrence on pages: YES
    Bug occurrence on dialogs: YES
Bug occurrence on minimizing / maximizing: YES
Bug occurrence after reinstall AMS: YES
Bug occurrence in older AMS versions (7.1): NO
    Bug incidence: Always
    ----------------------------

    Hope this helps!

    Best regards,
    S0mbre

You can add Vista Home Premium (64 bit version) to the list.
