    Chrome - The Google Browser

    Hi,

    Today, we're expecting the launch of Chrome, the Google Browser.

    Thanks for the link. Very, very fast indeed. I also see that Google is getting into corp video google apps shortly too.

    Interesting stuff indeed. I was reading about this a little bit this morning and got to try it when I saw the link here.

    Works fine for me. Didn't notice any speed gains when compared to Firefox, then again there isn't much in the way of speed when compiling.

    I'll be watching this to see how it grows.

    Installed with no problems. Installed Flash plugin with no problems.

    It's loading all pages I throw at it, seemingly properly.

    (Tip: Right-click a page and do a View page source ||| and try this one, type this and click enter in the address bar field "about:")

    Right-click on a selected word(s), for example, and then select inspect element is pretty interesting.

    Those firebug copy cats .... except firebug works better and has more features.

    Yeah that section has been mentioned all over the net. Apparently Google is going to remove it.

    Ya, getting the word out helps. I understand from a business standpoint the pluses to that, but it's still frustrating when companies go to those lengths.... and then we find out about it. Somewhat it erodes trust in that company, even if a little bit.
