When I add custom icon (.ico) with 4-bit, 8-bit and 32-bit images, sizes (16x16 to 256x256), the installer will not start but errors with "can't find data section".

Hi pico,
Are you adding the custom icon under: Project | Advanced Settings: use custom icon or Publish | Settings | Resources: Use custom icon
If so could you please post the icon that you are using? I have tested this on my side and have been unable to replicate this problem so I have a few more questions for you:
1) What operating system are you using?
2) What compression settings are you using?
3) Are you using the commercial or trial version of Setup Factory 8.0?MSI Factory The Next Generation Intelligent Setup Builder
