Does anyone know of a program that works with Photoshop or a standalone program that will insert a watermark (not so much) or identifying info into a photo? This way the photo can be claimed as ones own picture.
Are you thinking about more than writing to either the file properties, EXIF or IPTC details?
I've played around with 'tagging' a few shots with IPTC information but couldn't see the point for me as I don't really have any worries about the odd one or two shots of mine that people might get hold of.
I use IRFANVIEW as my default viewer and you can edit the IPTC stuff with that. I haven't tried it but I have seen POWEREXIF mentioned as a useful tool.
