    Hello everyone,

I'm currently working on a website and in need of inspiration so to get started, I had a look at Kuler. I got those two schemes:
http://kuler.adobe.com/#themeID/198993 and http://kuler.adobe.com/#themeID/165164 . What do you think about them? Those are for an aviation community.

Sky is better, especially for aviation, the browns just don't fit in the other scheme. BTW, it's cool to see that someone else uses kuler.

      That makes sense!

Sure, Kuler is a nice tool. Unfortunately I can't use the AIR app since the runtimes doesn't work on my computer (it doesn't register the extension). But it's nice anyways !

In my experiences, black backgrounds are a pain to work with. You will spend a LOT more time on your website graphics if you have a black background! I just changed my website from black to white.

Amen! Black backgrounds are nice for minisites, small ads, but never for a full website. I also tried it
They can however be nice to make inversed titles (eg: the site's background is white and its text is black. For an heading, you put a black background and white text. It can sometimes be real nice!

Anyway, after a poll amongst my community members, most of them liked this one best: http://www.colourlovers.com/palette/...Giant_Goldfish which is some shades of blue, orange and creamy-white.

              I appreciated your suggestions!

                  Thanks
It's a redesign, so the site already exists there: http://www.virtuailes.ca

My WIP is seeable (is that a word? lol) there: http://foxleader.deviantart.com/art/...Final-89922480 but keep in mind that it's a work in progress! It still needs some work!
