    Thumbs up Thanks, i hate captcha's

    Thanks to whoever *tweeked* the forum settings, i notice there is no longer a captcha on the search page and no more annoying message announcment list

    Yeah, captchas should really only be implemented on forms where the results get e-mailed. Otherwise, there's no real point, usually. Most spammers don't waste their time with scripts that they know won't serve their purposes.

    Captcha's still exist for 'guests'. They're more to prevent DOS attacks on our server (running random queries to tie up server resources, etc). But if you're logged in, you shouldn't see any captcha's (or at the very least, only a few).
