Change checkbox background color

Is there a way to change the background color of a checkbox control? I've added on to my form to allow me to launch the software after installation but the background is silver and doesn't match the white of the standard image included in the dialog.

I don't see any way to change the color of a checkbox in the dialog editor.

Is this still an outstanding issue? I would also like to change the background color to white and would appreciate any ideas on how to do this.
