    Grab the computer name?

I was wondering if it was possible to grab the computer name of the machine and insert it into a field.

I was originally going to try and have Autoplay write to a word document, but I'm not any good with ActiveX controls, or programming in general really, so I think I'm going to just do a basic form. I'm writing this as a way to go through an implementation checklist I have created for the laptops at my company and there are two things I have left to accomplish that I haven't yet:

1.) Have the program automatically pull the computer name from the machine and enter it into a field

2.) Make it so that when I click on a button, it puts a check mark (or the word "complete") in a field on the checklist page.

I really haven't even figured out how to create the form yet so if you know of a good, newb, article regarding how to do that then please let me know. Everytime I try and have an input field populate a label object it will only work if it's on the same page. Here's what I have:

    Page 1 - Disclaimer
Page 2 - User Information (This is where I would like to input their user name, computer name, serial number, and service tage)
Page 3 - Choose what they want to do
Page 4 - Drivers (Has a list of our machines that they can choose from and the drivers to go with it)
Page 5 - Programs (Here is where I want it so that every time I click on an icon to install a program, I want it to someone make a notification to the checklist that it's completed)
Page 6 - Checklist (It's not there yet, but I want a check list that shows everything I installed and have it marked as complete)

I know this is really long .... but please help
