Menu cutting off bottom of .swf files

Hi I have an AMS app with a menu bar at the top for which each menu option opens up various .swf files. Everything works fine except when you launch certain .swf files from the menu, you can't see the bottom of the file. All of my .swfs are 1024 x 768. My project size is the same. For most of them, it doesn't matter if they're cut off, but I have a few where I need to see the bottom of the .swf. Is there a way to make the menu "superimpose" on top of the .swf instead? The only thing that I could figure out is to make my project size bigger (which I really don't want to do because a lot of our users' screen resolutions are 1024 x 68.)

You should be able to place the .swf over the top of the (20 pixels) that constitute the menu bar. The menu will then overlay the top (20 pix) of the (.swf).
The other option is to decrease the size of the .swf to fit the adjusted 1024 748 screen size.

How do I do your suggestion?

    Holtgrewe,

Thank you for your reply. Your suggestion sounds great, but I don't know how to make the menu overlay the top 20 px of my .swf. How do I do that?

    Thank you.

Extend or drag the Flash object 'over' the menu bar.
You won't be able to see the menu bar in the design screen, but it should be visible at run time.

If this presents a problem while designing, you can 'hide' the flash object during design.

    I'll include an example...
