    rich text object example requested

    Hi All!

Does anyone have an example project using the rich text object with formatting codes?

What I would like to do is have a page with the rich text object where the user can type their introduction speech and format the text with font, bold, italic, etc. and save that text to a rtf file with all the formatting.

As a bonus - if you have it - I would like to have a project page that has a rich text object populated with appended multiple rtf files stored in a folder (includes the introduction speech created in the previous paragraph, cover page, bio, etc) and that the user can then format further for a finished project. That completed document should then be able to be saved.

Has anyone done anything similar or have anything that could get me started? I'm most interested in an example of the formatting of the text in the rich text object and the ability to save that formatted text to an rtf file.

Thanks very much for any assistance you can provide!!!

    Sue

Thank you, Dermot - Thank you - Thank you very much!!!

However, I'm getting the following error when I try to look at it though:

Error: Plugin "FontDialog\FontDialog.lmd" is not licensed for re-distribution

I added the fontdialog folder to the plugins folder in the program folder for AutoPlay but it's not showing up in the list - I don't know if this is something I once knew how to do and forgot or if I never knew it

    What should I do?

Sorry, forgot that it uses Worms's FontDialog plugin. You can grab it for free here http://www.warmuskerken.com/warmuskerken_002.htm
