Portable/Thinstall software can be run from CD?

I ask because, though I am running some stuff from USB, a lot of friends PC's don't have USB ports (There all tight with money and won't update PC's!).

I do a lot of FREE FOR MATES maintenance (got a lot more mates now than I used to have ) and its a pain sometimes having to mess about installing stuff just to do something then uninstalling it so they don't muck about and mess things up, especially on some of the older end (can anybody say slllloooowww!) machines.

If I could create an AMS app with all my apps built in to run from disc that would be excellent!

Well just try

For "thinstalled" apps, that works however it doesn't works for any portable software, for exemple Portable FireFox has to writes to the profile, and it wouldn't be able to if run from a CD.
