Vista on the Mac: inactive files?

    An end-user reports:
"when installing your PC software on to a Mac with Vista operating sytem (parallel capability) the .txt files are not active. You can see them but they are inactive files."
Does anyone have any insights into how to solve this?

Do you know what they are referring to when they say 'inactive files'? This could be very difficult to debug because it is not running on a native windows machine.

The end-user solved the immediate problem. It seems that Vista-Mac cooperation relies on the user starting Vista before attempting to access data files, applications, etc.
