Tone generation

Is there anyway to generate tones (sine waves) with AMS 6. I'd like to be able to enter a value in hz eg. 100 and set a duration in seconds and get AMS to generate the tone. I assume to do this I would need to control dsound.DLL
Or another third party DLL. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can achieve this? I can't see any other way of doing this, any help will be greatly appreciated.
