SELECT PACKAGES screen: Questions/Issues

I am running SF 7.0.6.1 and I am trying to setup a Packages selection screen using the default Select Packages screen template. Here is my current scheme:

[] Server Components
[] Workstation Components
[] Widget Integration
[] 3rd Party Connectors
[] Fidget Work Order Generator Tool


One issue I have is that when you select/deselect any of the packages, the package description does not refresh properly. In other words, the Server Components description stays and does not change no matter what you select. Any suggestions? Thanks!

The next item I have a question about is how to go about disabling a package selection if another package is selected and vice versa, i.e., If I select Server Components then I want Workstation Components to be disabled so that the user can't select it and vice versa:

Each one of these packages contain multiple setup EXEs, i.e., the Server Components package has the MSDE 2000 installer and several other installers that comprise the total Server Installation of my Widget product. My goal was to combine them all into one installation package and have them copied to the local drive into a temp folder and then 'called' (run the EXE) in order depending on the package that was selected.

Okay now for the 'biggie fries' question...I do not have a clue as to how I should go about doing this. Any suggestions/help would be most greatly appreciated.
