center maximized

Hi guys
This may be a simple sounding question but i cant seem to wrap my head around it. I have an application which when it runs it is centered in the screen perfectly, however, if i maximize the application it shifts all the content to the upper left corner. I would like all the content to remain in the center because it looks terrible otherwise - any input will be tremendously appreciated.
