Ensure that you don't have another instance of autorun.exe running. Check Task Manager if there's no visible indication of this.

I have had this happen NUMEROUS times.

It happens when AMS is running and the system is shut down for what ever reason, before you closed AMS.

It usually happens when one of the apps I have open along with AMS, freezes the system and so I have to reboot with out properly shutting down everything first.

The only way I have been able to recover from this was to reinstall the app.

I would definitely make sure you're running the latest version.

If this is still happening after a fresh reboot of your computer and you are trying to initially preview an application, then I would contact support and give them as much detail as possible. They're amazing in their response time as well as their willingness to help !

Yeah, iv had that a few times, i think mwreyf1 hit the nail right on the head, when i have a system crash or lockup with ams running (as well as some other apps i use) i get errors when i try and run them after reboot, cleaning your system registry should fix that, it seems that when ams (or my system as the case maybe) has a crash the reg gets all messed up, simply cleaning the messed up keys from your pc should fix the problem

if you dont have a reg cleaner you can get a free 1 here

    hope it helps
