search a file then copy the folder its in

Hi all,
I dont know if anyone will help me on this as im such a noob,but looking on how to search for a file in a folder and subfolders and then copy the folder the file is in to desk top.


Help on this would be great thanks.

Take a look at the Help section for the following:

File.Find()

and...

String.SplitPath()

You are welcome. Don't forget to use the Search option here in the forums. If you do not find what you want on the first page of the Search returned items, then make sure to check other "deeper" pages (eg. Page 1, 2, 3, etc.).
