    Windows Media Player

I have set up a Windows Media Player Object and when some people try to run it the screen shows the WMP logo and the menu is grayed out. I set the video to play when the page opens. I never have the problem on my computer or most computers. I thought since the WMP was embedded it did not matter what the customer had installed.

    Thanx for your help

What kind of video are you trying to use? MPEG-1? WMV? AVI?

    Re: Windows Media Player

The use of MPEG-2 in WiMP requires a third-party software or hardware decoder. Those that don't have a compatible version of either will not be able to play MPEG-2 files in the WiMP (any version).
