How do you change / edit /add to this template

Just start a new project using that template and then go in there and change anything you want. If you are just starting out reading through some/all of the help file will help you get a basic understanding of how AMS works. Experiment, you'll be amazed how easy it is to figure out... Sure that would work too. Sounds like you just need to try a few things and see what happens. Experimentation is fun and you can learn this app in a single afternoon if you're keen.
