Problem with Uninstall Shortcut

Using SF 7.0.5.1 I get the following error message:

Could not create uninstall shortcut:
c:\Documents and Settings\Yada...Yada\Uninstall NewHomesTrak Demo.lnk

On the Uninstall Settings Tab the 'Create uninstall' is checked, and on the Shortcut Tab 'Create Uninstall Shortcut in Start Menu is checked.

The Uninstall works from the 'Add/Remove Apps'. No sub folder is created on the Start Menu, which is why I'd guess that I'm getting the error. SF does place the App on the Start Menu however.

I haven’t been able to recreate this error (SF 7.0.5.1).

Maybe there is something I have misunderstood. Uninstall Settings|Shortcut has only one option "Create uninstall shortcut in Start menu > AppFolder". All files in the archive list have 7 options (Desktop...Custom).

In a small test project I tried:
a) App shortcut in “Start menu”
b) Uninstall shortcut in “Start menu > AppFolder"
No problems (but an unpleasant result).

Are you using a limited Windows account at runtime? What is your setting for "Default User Profile for Shortcuts" (Project Settings|Advanced)?

No it's not limited. I have had the problem on 2 test machines, both single user w/ admin rights. I've decided to change SF to not put a shortcut out, which gets around the problem.
