Hi,

How can disable in my program the CTRL+ALT+DEL buttons?

I don't want that if the user press this buttons appear the windows Task manager...

How can i do??

It can be done on Window 95/98. Not possible on XP AFAIK. And I have looked!

In the end that would create MAJOR security holes in Windows.

I say that if someone wants to inhibit Ctrl-Alt-Delete, then they're simply up to no good.

Why do you guys insist on helping them? I'm at a loss....

Well... in my case I want the end user to be made to see the advertisers page for a minimum of ten seconds. I do not want them to be able to leave before they see it. It's a must in my case.

Maybe also to keep folks from bypassing the Kiosk mode in certain situations.

But maybe, i prefer to know how to automatic send the mail without that she click on the button "send"... This is better... But if you only know how to know if she click "send" or not is the same...

So much for giving someone the benefit of doubt.

This is one reason why I do not share everything I have ran into.

One of those I do not share is how to send e-mail attachments silently that seems to not have a problem with Firewalls and Antivirus activities (no, don't PM me for the file. It won't happen).

I want do that: ( it's a joke for a my friend that she always say to me that is more clever than me... Maybe it's true but i want marvel she.... ( i love she... i will never do something bad to she...).

this program that i'm doing, don't let she able to exit to it until she answer yes to this question: "Who is more clever, you or me?"
If she click "ME", it ask again the question until she answer "YOU".
And when she will click on "YOU" i want that the program send me a email with that answer.... And next she can exit to the program...
Like this i have the proof and i can joke with she...
Like this i can say: I HAVE THE PROOF.... YOU SAID THAT I'M MORE CLEVER THAN ME........
I know that you think that is a stupid thing... But we will laught a lot for that....
Please.... HELP ME....

If you don't believe me, you can tell me only how to know if she click the button "SEND" or not... If you think that i'm bad, nothing can happend because everybody can reboot the computer for exit the program and don't send the e-mail, and they will never run this program again...

What i can do with a text mail WITHOUT an attached file????
NO VIRUS, NO TROJAN, NOTHING BAD.......

The only "bad" thing that i can do it will be a spam e-mail...

Well, I have only used it for my testing purposes. I even have not used it in production. I just don't want anyone thinking, "oh, that's shady coding".

And you can see how it would get abused quite quickly.

Anyway, there are many most excellent ways of handling that endeavor and others without being malicious, or coming across like such.

AMS really does open up some exciting opportunites. But, like so many things in life it can be used for other applications that are not acceptable behaviors.

i agree with you guys! I have no idea how to disable ctrl alt del except for LOGON. thats set up through Policies. i personally will never have a reason (even as a joke). what i do as a joke (since i work on a network) is i will log into their computers (i'm our LAN ADMIN) and i'll move their files into a folder, or just past a bunch of blank shortcuts (their files size is 0 kb) on their desktops until its covered. Besides, if i mess up their computers, i'm the one that fixes them. so i would only be shooting myself in the foot.
