    XP to 98SE problem

    Hi IndigoRose,

    I develop in vb6, sp6 on a win98se machine. Everthing was beautiful.

Most of my users have mirgrated to XP, so I thought I should do the same.

I installed SF7 on my XP machine and copied my SF7 project files from win98se to XP. I re-compiled my software under XP and re-compiled my SF7 setup file. It worked brilliantly on XP, but gave me trouble when I installed it to 98SE.

The dao350.dll somehow gets de-registered in 98se and all attempts to restore it to 98se registry have failed. Namely RegSvr32.exe

Some registry mechanic software checkers and fixers have not resolved the problem.

Is there something I should be aware of here that I am overlooking?

    Appreciate any direction.

    Regards
    Ken

Do you include that file in your setup? If so do you have it set to register under the "Advanced" tab?
