How to merge registry key file?

    Hi,

I have a registry file i want to merge into registry that contains all my settings rather than using Autoplay 4 and writing separate entries for all the values i want. My reg file BFAS.reg contains all the entries i need, i have tried to use file/execute key - it doesnt work, i tried file/open - it doesnt work (from within the properties of the menu)

    Is there any way to:
    1) execute BFAS.reg in autoplay to merge into registry
    2) if it can be run, without prompting you to say yes to 'do you want to merge'? and ok to 'merge successful' pop windows?

    many thanks

    I believe you can run %WinDir%\Regedit.exe /S "C:\My File.reg". Try the /S (or /s) command line option.

      Brett,

yeah i worked it out, sorry i didnt reply earlier. I did use the /s in the command line option running regedit as the main executable.
Now my programs runs from CD, which cleans themselves after closing.

      Thanks for your help
