DLL question

Hi,

I almost don't dare to ask this question, but I have a problem.
Till now I never used the DLL-function, because I don't know what I can do with it. I'm no software developer, just trying to get the most out of AMS.

What I am asking myself is:
- How do I know what functions are in a DLL
- How do I know how to use the functions within a DLL

Till now you all are doing magical things, because I don't understand it

Please share some of your knowledge with me

If you could only give me a hint, where I could find something that helps me a bit into the right direction. That would be nice!!

The only ways to really know what functions are available in a dll is either because you created it yourself, or there is documentation with the the dll that the the developer has released with it. If there's documentation, then, hopefully, there will be complete explanations of each function.
There are some other threads that talk about creating dlls and what programs to use. The last one I read concluded with with Pure Basic being a good starter app.
