I worked with a talented female vocalist to redub the Scrapbook MAX! Flash tour, here's the new version:

That gal sounds good and the Flash rocks as usual. But, she is not fooling me I can tell the hint of Canadian accent.

My question is... do you folks from Canada notice such accent?

I could easily have had her reread the parts where a little bit of accent comes through but in the end I felt it added a personable touch which is something scrappers won't mind. If we had been working on a corporate presentation for an oil company I would definitely have redone a couple phrases here and there. But in that case I would have also provided her with the copy a week in advance so she could rehearse it, in this case it was a cold read. Also the lady who did the work is a talented vocalist so she has enough control to correct certain inflections if you ask her to, but for this gig we took a relatively casual approach. I think scrappers enjoy that, they don't seem to like the super neutral "corporate" feel which dominates the web. The response on the Scrapbook MAX! forum seems positive so I'm pretty sure the shoe fits the foot in this case. :yes

Ya, I'll give her (and you) a high-five on this one. She came across very clear and easy to understand (something I'm still struggling after for some trenta y cinco años now).

She's a professional singer with tons of experience so I think that helps. She's able to mimick pretty much anything, in this case she just did what I asked but she's capable of a whole range of other stuff if need be. Super easy to work with to. :yes

Okay, one last thing. Can you please have her say my new coined term (chuckle), Doodlecoding.
