    Grin background question

this may be a really bad question but...
I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to make the aplication use a picture as not only the background but the whole program itself like with the provided examples the video player, the ipod looking one,and a couple of others but i can't seem to figure it out

    thanks to anyone who helps

Simple enough, in principle. You have to use a mask for the window.
A way to do it wold be to se Photoshop or similar, create your background (assuming it is NOT a rectangle, of course...) and have a B&W version of it where the white is the opaque area and the black the transparent area.
save background and B&W version separately. Use Background as...well background and B&W as mask (Proect < Custom Mask).

    Good luck..
