    Garbled Quicktime

Any idea why my Quicktime player plays back so garbled? The video comes accros OK, but the audio sounds like THIS.

Maybe the audio codec is corrupted or non-existant. I'd reinstall quicktime for starters - reboot?

    Sounds Twilight-Zone'ish

Edit: and I'm sure you've checked other sources?

Flashbaaaaaaack. Not sure what that is, it isn't a sample rate mismatch and it doesn't sound like a codec issue. Sounds like CPU choppiness. Does it still do that after a restart? Are all your QT like that or just this one?

Uninstall, re-install, reboot, and all seems to be ok.
