    Very exciting for the world of music. A lot of today's MIDI keyboards/controllers are USB. So this would be great for onstage/studio to reduce the cable runs. If it gets affordable I might grab one, my studio floor looks like a cable factory near the door where everything runs out to the PC in an adjoining room. Including phone, cable, MIDI, USB, etc. I have 15 separate cables going out under the door.

    Yes, I hope this gets here sooner than later. I have all four USB ports on this laptop I'm'a usin' full'la'did up'ed. Wires across my desk, oh the sight of it all!

    Shouldn't you consider these multi threads cables?
    One 16 threads cable could answer your needs...

    How could I do that? I have phone, cable, power, USB, SVGA, audio of several types, MIDI, etherlink, etc...
