My first MP3 with the new drums...

I didn't have much time so I just did a quick thing for the sake of recording these Vdrums finally. My crappy playing aside, the Vdrums themselves sound not bad methinks.

I like it - Don't know if you named it or not, but I'm calling it 'reunited'. Would like to have the [whole] version. Definitely going in my sounds folder

    Thanks.

I had been calling it, "Never in a very long while" because it has a nostalgic kind of vibe (Jeff Beck influenced). "Re-united" is fine by me instead but you better not get me in trouble with Peaches and Cream Ron. The last thing I need is "Cream" pushing me down a flight of stairs or something. Nosiree.

If I ever finish it off I'll definitely post it.

what set did you get? i cant have a listen here at work, but i will when i get home. curious to see how the newer sets are sounding, mines a lil outdated but i still love it. nothing beats being able to play drums at 3am without ****ing off the neighborhood

Mine's just a TD-3SV but I MIDI (created a custom drump map) it through Steinberg's Groove Agent and that gives me tons of killer sounds. For the price, this little kit can't be beat it absolutely rocks. It has a mesh snare and virtual cymbals. And definitely no problems with the neighbors. It feels great too, I guarantee you would not regret buying one of these. Lately I've noticed a lot of used Vdrums in the classifieds but I wanted the warranty so I went with the new kit. You also need to add a throne and kick pedal. You can get great kick pedals pretty cheap these days, I grabbed a dual chain Pearl double for $120 CAN.

Gabis, you should definitely stop by a drum store and jam out on a Vkit for a few minutes. I can't express how beautiful these things are, I regularly play mine full power at 3:00 AM, no problemo. I'm shocked by how great this TD3 kit feels, I expected it to feel cheap but instead I find myself liking it better than the average acoustic rock kit.
