Wow, interesting factoid. The singer from Fireball Ministry was saying that the second stage bands who play on Ozzfest pay $75,000 cash to be there. I've heard much about this but that's the first time I've heard that particular number. Apparently Sharon Osbourne asked Fireball Ministry on the tour and the band passed because they figured paying $75K to play second stage is not worth it. I agree 100%. It's a joke really.

I was never a huge Fireball Ministry fan but I'm warming up to them considerably lately.

Some more amusing audio, the 2005 MP3 diary of Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward. Says he's been in 29 separate car crashes.
    http://www.billward.com/news/index.html

A classic rock star quote (verbatim) from Bill Ward as he attempts to describe something simple he did only two hours prior:
Today we had some really good, uh, we had a really good version of, ummm, oh man I'm sorry, I'm just, uh, I've got a head like cheese some days, heh, uh, swiss cheese, heh, ummm, heh heh heh heh heh, uhhh...
That's syllable for syllable, no exaggeration. And it's not even like someone asked him a question, he's the only one in the room.

In the latest edition he rambles about the vagaries of being an adult attempting to order beans on toast from the children's menu in modern day England, and how it quickly escalated into "world war three" for him on one occasion last December. Golden. You have to love the things 60 year old rock stars get worked up about. Toast and beans off a kid's menu? Classic!
