    100 DVDs for $27 (CAN$) at Walmart

I never shop at Walmart but this time I made a concession and bought a 100 DVD spindle for $27.77 CAN today ($70 normally). Maxell 8X DVD-R, I've used this brand/type without any problems. Sale should be on for a while, the guy said that they're clearing out boxing day leftovery.

Great deal for cleaning up your hard drive or doing backups. 470 GB @ $27.77 works out to just over a nickel (CAN$) per gig.

Oooo... slippery slope, my lad, slippery slope. It's like the lady that was asked if she would have "relations" with a gentleman for a million dollars (CN). She said, "well, yes...". He then said, "How about 500,000??" She said, "I suppose so..." He then said, "How about five bucks?" She said "What do you think I am?!?!" He replied, "we've already established that...we're just haggling over a price."

Shopping at WalMart for "A Deal" is the first "well, yes..."

    GcB

PS. Did you know they use baby seal skins to make the cases for the DVD's at WalMart? It's true... trust me... I'm over 50!

I agree 100%. I don't think I'd do it again actually personally. It was a mistake. I figured I'd post it anyhow...
