I got your data base!

I’m looking for someone who is very good at web data bases. What I am looking for:

Sales person would log on with unique password and enter a new lead…

Lead: Company name
Contact name:
Date of contact:
zip code:
Sales organization: (the sales person or company who is entering the data)


The lead would be locked for a period of say 90 days and then be dropped from the data base.

If the lead was taken or already in the data base, a popup would say, “Sorry, already in database and protected until Jan 21, 2006......Dealer involved : Junk Bonds Direct”

It must be brain dead proof and easy to maintain.

I know this doesn’t stop someone from adding tons of contacts to the data base they don’t really have, perhaps some one has a suggestion or idea to help me out. This is a paying gig so…. Give me a yell!

Yup, Bruce is a top notch guy. I'd take on the job if I had more time (I love database work) but I must focus on night school :(

Right now I am taking a 4th year computer science course through Athebasca University. The course is an Internet technology somethin or other. Then this winter I am going to take a few filler courses at the U of M (electives) and then this summer I'll have one course left to finish.... Then I'm gonna party like it's 1999

I love that university name. They've used my testing software on-and-off for around ten years. When my youngest was around 4 he had a REALLY bad speech impediment. One day when I told him I was going up to Athabasca he said:

Athabasca,
Athabasca, BOO!
Athabasca,
Athabasca,
Poop on YOU!

I knew by then that my buddies in the school's speech intervention program were doing their job!
