    SSL Certificates

Hi, Just wondering where you guys get your SSL Certs...In the past we have used Verisign but I am looking for something a little easier on my wallet.

There are so many offerings out there I wondered if anyone had any experiences with other vendors.

    Thanks!

    Thawte is always another option.

OK, fair warning, here it comes...

[shameless plug]We re-sell the GoDaddy Starfield certs at www.uhostu.com. The Turbo cert is only $27.95/yr. For many medium to small online shops, this is a great low-cost option.[/shameless plug]

Sorry for the shamelessness of said plug. It's really the same thing you'll buy for roughly the same cost at GoDaddy.

*EDIT* OOPS! We are actually cheaper than GoDaddy on that product. I should check my comparisons more often... Yeesh.

Just let me add, for anyone who's new, Eric Darling and uhostu.com are both top notch and they have my personal recommendation. Price aside, at the end of the day there's a lot to be said for dealing with someone who you can trust and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase services from Eric based upon what I've seen of him over the past 3-4 years.

Thanks for the info. We went ahead with RapidSSL.com. At ~$69/yr it was hard to pass up. Eric, I will definately keep you in mind when renewal time comes around again.
