I'm anti-apple forever after what they did to Rosa Parks photo today. As long as I live I shall never utter another word about apple which isn't negative. That being said go ahead and discuss aperture you guys, I'm definitely not out to ruin anyone else's discussions about apple stuff...

I'd say that since Aperture requires a Mac to run it, a gross minority of users around these parts are likely to use it. But, FWIW, I am going to be getting a copy for sure.

I wonder how this changed Corey's anti-Apple policy... I didn't think the sentiment could get much deeper...

Well, only since you specifically asked and I owe you the respect of a response... This will be my final word on it here at IR.com. This is my personal view only and it has zero to do with Indigo Rose Software.

Yesterday I viewed apple as a non-issue, now I view them as a problem. Yesterday there was an extremely good possibility I would eventually buy a Mac, now there is zero chance. This is the most shameful branding transgression I have ever witnessed not to mention a monumental breech of good taste and basic human decency. Emotionally speaking, I'm ashamed of the people who designed/approved/published it. In my eyes there are just certain things you don't do in this universe. Period.

I got 10-15 emails on this issue from various friends of all walks of life today, in particular a couple of surprise emails from guys who never seem to express disagreement about *anything*. And 100% of them were anti-apple on this to one extent or another. That indicates to me this is not my personal issue, but rather a simple issue of basic human decency. Anyhoo that's the difference FWIW. Normally I wouldn't have posted this here but you've always answered my questions Eric, so...

Sorry to be a bummer folks, enough of this now. EVERYBODY MAMBO!!! [bing-bing-bing da-da da-bing bing!]

Nah, I'm just ribbing you, Corey. You're a man of your convictions, and that's also to be commended. You are, more than most, entitled to your opinions.
