I need help from all 50 states

My Son has a school project where they are trying to collect dirt from all 50 states. They have a lot of dirt from the mid west and since I travel, I am planning on getting some dirt from NJ and WA when I make it there in the next couple of weeks. However, there is a lot of territory to cover. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help complete their project. Quite frankly as my son told me about the project The first thing I thought of is that there are people on the forums from all over the world.

PM me if you are interested in helping, I can provide a mailing address where you can send the dirt. I cannot cover the cost of shipping the dirt but any help is appreciated. If you do help please post the state from which you will be sending dirt. All that is needed is a small baggie, like a sandwhich bag.

    Thanks again

Tigg... email me with a mailing address. I tried pouring the dirt into the old floppy drive opening so I could send it electronically and it just dribbled out. Just dirt, huh.... I could give a lot of funky rocks .

    Oh yeh... Minnesota.

You know... that word "dirt" is dead wrong. The teacher should have said, "Send me SOIL from all 50 states." Dirt is what collects in your keyboard, dirt is what's in the Hoover's bag, and dirt is what politicians sling (well, actually that's WET dirt, or as some call it "mud".).

So... assuming "soil" I'll send you some interesting things from Various Places. I'll have to dig in the <gasp> Rock Room for appropriate stuff.

    PS... Thanks for the address!

Probably but some may be more 'organic' then others.
