    Desktop Video Tutorial Questions

    Hi All

this is my 1st post and I'm very new to Auto Play Media Studio
I have produced several desktop tutorials using the Camtasia Recorder software and was planning to distribute them as AVI's using their own codec.

When I produce my CD's I seem to be getting slightly distored sound in places, everyone seems to recommend using mpegs, I'm not sure what to do, stick with the AVI's or take the jump over to mpegs.

Would using mpegs reduce the distored sound ?

    Many thanks

    Steve

We use Quicktime for such purposes... Your sound may have one of many problems, hard to say. MPEG certainly will not "cure" a bad audio track...
